Grant Taleck is a Development Manager at Clear Mountain Properties, where he helps manage the complex and ever-evolving development process, leaning on strong relationships with CMP’s internal team, contractors, architects, city officials, and investors to move projects from concept to reality.
Grant’s connection to real estate started early. Growing up in Southwest Florida in a family of woodworkers, he was drawn to hands-on projects and the satisfaction of tangible results. As a teenager, he got his first exposure to the business helping his father buy, remodel, and rent homes, work that gave him a broad, practical skill set and a lasting appreciation for how real estate gets built.
After competing on the golf team at Babson College, where he studied business and entrepreneurship, Grant founded a content marketing agency that took him across the U.S. and around the world. His travels sparked a passion for cities and urban planning that ultimately brought him to Greenville. Eager to understand how progress happens at the city level, he began attending city council and non-profit board meetings and worked part-time in Mayor Knox White’s office, an experience that showed him how collaboration, relationship-building, and follow-through drive every successful project.
Outside the office, Grant is usually running, hiking, biking, or golfing across the Upstate, often dreaming up the potential of the development sites he passes. He is energized by CMP’s focus on downtown revitalization and thoughtfully designed, trail-oriented development, and by the chance to help shape the future growth of the communities the firm invests in.
