Jesse Royal is an AI Integration Engineer at Clear Mountain Properties, where he builds, manages, and optimizes the systems that power the firm’s growing use of AI. A Carolina native who grew up between South Carolina and North Carolina before putting down roots in Greenville, Jesse has always been wired to understand how things work.

He started programming at age twelve, drawn naturally to math and complex logic. Though he began college studying graphic design, he quickly realized he was more interested in building the backend than designing the front. He pivoted to a Computer Science degree, began training AI models, and knew he had found his niche. Through rigorous academic projects and hands-on roles, Jesse built a strong foundation in backend architecture and complex, parallel workflows, the skill set he now applies every day at CMP.

Jesse was first drawn to Clear Mountain by the drive and passion of the team. His goal is a simple one: build smart, efficient technology that adds real value, while forming lasting relationships with the people he works alongside.

Outside of work, Jesse is a competitive swing dancer of nearly three years. He sees a lot of overlap between AI and dance, both reward technical precision and quick, on-the-fly problem-solving. Competitions often take him on the road, but he spends most of his days in the Upstate and is proud to call Greenville home.
