When we acquired the first parcel for this project back in 2020, the story of Travelers Rest was already being written: a small mountain-flanked town transforming into one of the Southeast’s most vibrant enclaves. Today, that story has only accelerated.

Set at the foothills of the Blue Ridge and connected to Greenville by the beloved Swamp Rabbit Trail, Travelers Rest has become a destination for food lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs alike. Its walkable downtown hums with acclaimed restaurants, craft breweries, boutique shops, and a creative culture that continues to draw regional and national attention—including recognition from Southern Living as one of the “Best Small Southern Towns.”

Liva is designed to stand at the gateway of this growth. Our site sits directly along the Poinsett Highway corridor, where the city’s streetscape improvement program (groundbreaking February 2026) is re-shaping access, visibility, and character. By introducing new residential density here, Liva will not only serve the demand of families and professionals drawn to the area, but also help catalyze further retail and commercial development along the corridor.
